Install from the Chrome Web Store
Click Add to Chrome above to open the store listing. Choose Add to Chrome in the store, then confirm Add extension.

Import the conversation you choose.
Install PromptSteps Reader from the Chrome Web Store to import conversations from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Grok using the toolbar or right-click menu.

Pin PromptSteps Reader
Click the Extensions puzzle icon in Chrome's toolbar, then pin PromptSteps Reader for easy access.

Import a conversation
Open a conversation in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Grok. Click PromptSteps Reader in the toolbar or use its right-click action, then review the imported draft in PromptSteps.
Privacy boundary
The extension reads only the supported AI conversation tab you explicitly activate. It stores the selected conversation temporarily in browser session memory, schedules automatic deletion after 30 minutes, and deletes it immediately after PromptSteps accepts the handoff. It does not use cookies, provider tokens, analytics, ads, background scraping, broad all-sites access, or automatic uploads.
- Reads the current supported AI conversation only after a toolbar click or right-click action.
- Collects its visible title, prompts, responses, code, safe links, source origin and path, and capture time.
- Automatically deletes the temporary handoff after 30 minutes or immediately after it is accepted.
- Uses no analytics, advertising trackers, background scraping, provider credentials, or remote code.
